Those palm trees are fantastic to see and in real life they are fantastic in many ways. You made a nice shot of this tree.

I kind of ache this morning because I was up and down and crawling around and bending over and watering and digging holes to plant about 6 plants or flowers.

But I think they looked nice and should look great in a few weeks. I enjoyed your blog and think you made a wise choice for Sky Watch Friday.

The green branches are so beautiful against that deep blue sky. Nice photo.

I see him! There's a kingfisher that comes around here every so often, but he's shy and skittish, so I've never been able to photograph him.

Good shot of the Kingfisher on the tree. It must have been a pleasant evening.

Palms are very luxurious and resplendent trees .. not to forget very 'giving' .. in their shade and their fruit.. in the various uses the fronds and pith offer .

@tink

Birds by nature , take flight (:P) very easily ..making them very difficult to photograph.
I was lucky that ,where we were staying by the water , a whole lot of the kingfishers had made their nests in tress close by . And watched them through the day, dashing in and out of the water!
