All things small and beautiful ..........

Today I found this little fellow sunning himself on the leaf of  my hibiscus .

No more than a cm. in size he has the most amazing colors of a vivid blue and a sea green .

Do enlarge to see the spectrum of colors radiating from his wings that are oh so gossamer thin and delicately transparent...

 

Snake in the grass

This created quite a storm in the early morning teacup !

Agreed it wasn't the snake itself but the skin it had shed , yet it was quite fascinating .
